Privately owned holiday chalet

Originally from London, we moved to France along with our two black labs and three horses, settling down in the heart of Calvados, we found this beautiful holiday chalet set in stunning surroundings.

 This magnificent country oscillates between pastures and transparent sources,tourist places and renowned gourmet, it leads you in less than an hour to strategic tourist sites, such as Mont St Michel, the landing beaches or the English coast. Dynamic, festive and sporting Vire offers a host of leisure and cultural activities ideal for reunions with friends or family.

A beautifully kept 18 hole golf course within a 2 minute drive from the chalet, There is a reduction in price for golfers staying at the chalet.

                                        Lac de la Dathee.

A stunning location for walking, cycling. fishing and watersports.

Lake Dathée (43ha) with bird reserve (10 hectares) Lac du Gast Cascades, The bird sanctuary of Pont-es-Returns Lock Vire Valley Souleuvre and viaduct, National forest of Saint-Sever (1552 ha) Mount of rhododendrons Park Bisons in Maisoncelles la Jourdan Zoo Jurques (25km) Zoo Champrépus (51km) Route du Granit a loop of 50km circuit and the Gorges of the Vire, a 35km loop.

Lake Dathée, round the lake (7km) in St Manvieu-Bocage / St Germain Tallevende. Vire, walks exploring the city: a tour of (2km), Panoramic circuit (4-5 km).in the forest of St Sever, hiking trails, mountain biking (11km), equestrian (28km) Bay of Mont Saint Michel at 1:00

The landing beaches are within an hours drive, all with outstanding museums and sites open to the public many have been left the way they were on the historic 6th June 1944. Coudeville Plage: 54 km-55mn • Granville Beach: 55 km-59mn • Donville les Bains: Fine sandy beaches  • Saint Pair sur Mer beach 5km to practice all water sports: swimming (with restraint sea water), windsurfing, boating, fishing. 73 km-56mn.
